The BAITD series maps are always pretty neat and offer some clever new stuff on top of the already cliche ones. As long as the enemies are the same and the custom weapons are more or less acting the way they were meant to be it still is genuine enough to me. It can't hurt sometimes to deviate a bit from the original story line and the Alone In The Dark theme is quite compatible.

There are some nice ideas going on here. There is a lot of new art, voxels, and sound effects and gameplay mechanics. However, I am not a fan of the cramped rooms filled with voxels and sprites, nor the narrow corridors. You have to jump over things to get around in many cases and this just kills the gameplay especially in the house. But I am a fan of the idea, just not the total package.

I believe the maker had DOSBox set to fullscreen with a widescreen resolution while mapping and had to adjust the width of the corridors. Non widescreen users will therefor experience very narrow corridors.

Works perfect for me. But I don't come very far, I found a key in a small house and a door in a cellar that requires a key...but it doesn't fit at all. But the claws are so freaking cool!

From the train wreck there are 2 paths leading to the forest. One path leads to a place with a wide open space and a house with some barrels in front of it, inside 1 barrel there's a key to the house but after that I can't figure it out.

That would most likely be the case.
I always test projects in a clean Blood installed folder and it worked with me so I'm 100% sure there's something wrong at your side.

My advice is to Zip the freshly installed Blood folder so you can always quickly restore it.
